By accessing and using TeacherMatcher, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

TeacherMatcher is an online platform that connects K-12 educators with schools seeking qualified teaching professionals. We provide tools for profile creation, teacher discovery, and facilitate initial contact between educators and schools.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Update your information to keep it current
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Payment Terms

Schools may purchase access to teacher profiles through subscription ($29/month) or one-time purchases ($49 per teacher). All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly and automatically renew
  • One-time purchases provide 90-day access to specific teacher profiles
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for unused access

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post false or misleading information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
  • Use the service for any commercial purpose without permission

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their profile content but grant TeacherMatcher a license to display and distribute this content on the platform. All platform features, design, and functionality remain the property of TeacherMatcher.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

8. Disclaimers

TeacherMatcher is provided "as is" without any representations or warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information or the success of any connections made through our platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TeacherMatcher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. TeacherMatcher reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
